In 2014, two Dutch entrepreneurs, Pieter and Joppe, co-founded OLYX and started the business in a small office near Amsterdam’s Olympic Stadium. Since the beginning, both of them have believed that human relationships are the core element in trading, and that creating value for all is the key to making relationships thrive and endure. This belief has laid a solid foundation for building a trustworthy network with real impact.

Over the years, OLYX has expanded its business by facilitating trades in emerging markets and has established a solid reputation in the biofuel market. This successful approach has enabled year-over-year growth for the company. Now it’s home to an international team that speaks over 15 native languages, based in the HQ office located in the centre of Amsterdam.

Currently, OLYX remains focused on renewable energy and environmental commodities and its global reach, anchored in Europe.
