About the Job

We are looking for a full-time broker for the Dutch biomethane market to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and optimizing transactions among a diverse
portfolio of clients. It will require a deep understanding of the complex biofuel landscape, identifying
opportunities, negotiating transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities

● Market Analysis: Keeping informed about the latest developments in the biomethane market,
including regulatory changes, pricing trends, supply and demand analysis, and project development
opportunities. This will help you generate trade ideas in the global biomethane spot and forward
market..

● Client engagement: Establishing and nurturing client relationships, while thoroughly understanding
their requirements within the biomethane supply chain. Offering optionality and up-to-date market
insights to clients, with a deep understanding of the variables that impact their domestic market, as
well as the international arbitrage opportunities that we map out in collaboration with the other desks
within OLYX.

About you :

● Fluent in Dutch and English
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, environmental science, environmental
engineering, or related fields
● 1 to 3 years experience in Sales/Trading/Consultancy is plus
● Capable of understanding and navigating complex market landscapes
● Great commercial aptitude – deal closer
