About the Job

We are looking for a full-time broker for the German market to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and optimizing transactions among a diverse
portfolio of clients. It will require a deep understanding of the complex biofuel landscape, identifying opportunities,
negotiating transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities

● Market Analysis: Keeping informed about the latest developments in the German and
European biofuel market, including regulatory changes, pricing trends, and project
development opportunities.

● Client engagement: Establishing and nurturing client relationships, while thoroughly
understanding their requirements within the biofuel supply chain. Offering optionality and up-
to-date market insights to clients, with a deep understanding of the variables that
impact their domestic market, but also the international arbitrage opportunities that we map
out in collaboration with the other desks within OLYX.

About you :

● Fluent in German and English
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, environmental science, environmental
engineering, or related fields
● 2 to 3 years experience in Sales/Trading is required, experience in the biofuel industry is a
plus
● Self-starter, stress-tolerant, analytical, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial
● Capable of understanding and navigating complex market landscapes
● Great commercial aptitude – deal closer
