About the job 

We are looking for a full-stack developer to join the OLYX Data Team. As part of a fast-growing company, the Data Team strives to facilitate and inspire information flow within and beyond OLYX. In our team, you will work closely with a small group of enthusiastic talents, using your creativity and expertise to explore and develop data solutions through software products. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development and product design process. 
• Work on both the front- and back-end, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. 
• Develop and maintain JavaScript/Typescript web applications using technologies such as Next.js, React, Apollo (GraphQL API), and Express (REST API)
• Implement and adhere to best practices for code quality: writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. 
• Create unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality. 
• Help set up monitoring tools for various products to enhance performance and user experience. 
• Guide and support other software engineers, facilitating knowledge sharing and exchange among the team. 

 

About you: 

• 3+ years experience as a full-stack developer using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science or similar. 
• Strong proficiency in back-end technologies like Node.js, REST APIs (Express), and GraphQL (Apollo). 
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies like React and Next.js. 
• Solid understanding and experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL. 
• Bonus points if you have experience with CI/CD tools and processes, preferably with DigitalOcean and GitHub.
